The staff were very friendly and helpful. One incident was that I dirty my shoes at a muddy beach and the staff kindly let me use a large cleaning sink to clean my shoes. Thank you and much appreciated. The location was very good with beautiful scenery - high and low tides right before your eyes. The room was vintage style, cosy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our family of 7 had dinner in the hotel restaurant - excellent! Highly recommend this hotel to visitors coming to the Nelson area.

Last Resort Karamea dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, restaurante y bar en Karamea. The last resort should be your first port of call at Karamea! Excellent value. Comfy, clean and spacious with wonderfully friendly staff. The bar and pool room are warm and welcoming and the meals in the restaurant are delicious! Fabulous value for money. We will definitely stay here anytime we come back to karamea.
